There are so many benefits to staying active in retirement, including improved mood, reduced stress, better sleep, stronger bones, and even a lower risk of multiple diseases, according to the CDC. But those benefits aren’t just exclusively gained through hitting the gym. In fact, the National Institute on Aging reports that leisure activities may improve longevity for older adults as well.

That’s why where you retire is so important.

In the vibrant and bustling Hillsborough Township area of Somerset County, New Jersey, you have plenty of options from which to choose to get out and about. To start, check out Hillsborough Township’s local festivals.
